Join the Home Team

LH is seeking volunteers to join the new "Home Team" ministry. This ministry is coordinated by deacons Mark Claiborne, Brad Edmondson, Logan Hayes and Lott Warren

What is the Home Team?

The Home Team is a dedicated group of volunteers who play a crucial role in enhancing the Sunday morning experience for both guests and members. Comprising two main roles: Welcome Guides & Connection Concierges—these volunteers take turns serving during various time slots, including before and after the 9AM and 11AM gatherings on a rotating Sunday schedule. This schedule will be communicated to you by the aforementioned deacons.

Welcome Guides are stationed in the lower and upper foyers, ready to assist anyone in need. They play a vital role in creating a friendly environment by holding doors open, distributing bulletins and warmly greeting attendees with smiles and good mornings. Whether it's providing directions to kids' classes, introducing newcomers to fellow church members, or guiding them to the home room, Welcome Guides ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Connection Concierges focus on the Home Room, offering assistance to both guests and members. They encourage guests to fill out connect cards, provide welcome bags with church information, and assist members in signing up for events or joining home groups. Connection Concierges also play a vital role in helping recurring guests seamlessly become LH members, facilitating access into the directory, aiding new members in getting actively involved and will notify the elders of our growing church family.

The Home Team's commitment to service and hospitality is integral to fostering a sense of community and connection within the church, making each Sunday morning a positive and engaging experience for everyone involved.
